Peanuts make good subject matter, the dimples in the shells create nice textures. I had to resist putting more detail into it because I didn't want to overwork it. My favorite part of this painting is the cracked shell on the right. There's a little bit of red, papery skin next to it. There's also a half a peanut showing, see if you can find it. The rest of them are still intact.
